Carol Trotman

My watercolor style of painting is representational, whether the subject is flowers, birds,
boats, animals, seascapes, landscapes, architecture, or people. Watercolor is a
challenging and exciting medium and I am attracted to it because of its fluidity and
transparency. My paintings are visual celebrations of my joy and gratitude for God’s
magnificent creation.

After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Old Dominion University, I subsequently
taught in the Newport News and Chesapeake school systems for 30 years. A
professional artist, I have exhibited on the East Coast since 1965 and have won many
awards and honors.

Recently, my husband and I moved to Wingina, VA from Kitty Hawk, NC to be near out
sone and his wife.
