Diana Branscome
Branscome Glass was born in 2005. Diana used art glass to create her pieces that ranged from mirrors to suncatchers to tableware. In the spring of 2008, she became inspired to add recycled glass as a raw material.
Diana works with local restaurants to find and salvage the most unusual and beautiful bottles that she transforms into bowls, tea light candle holders, platters, and more. She smashes the bottles with a hammer, arranges the shards carefully, and heats them at very high temperatures to fuse them together into a new form.
