Lynne Oglesby Clay Art
I took my first pottery class in 1986 at Christopher Newport College and fell in love with the possibilities of working with clay.
I strive for simple forms that make reference to the curves and angles of the human body and feel good to use. Incorporating texture and color into a well balanced form is a continually satisfying challenge.
I am enthusiastic about gardening, cooking, and creating pottery that enhances sharing good food and drink with family and friends.
The handmade element of thoughtfully made serving pieces makes presentation more special.
